TalkChange is a grassroots initiative dedicated to promoting peace and social change through education. It was founded on June 5, 2020 by Gloire Sebuyange, inspired by his personal experiences in the violent conflicts of the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Considering the profound impact of conflict on individuals and communities, we value the inherent dignity of every person. We believe that no one should suffer the consequences of violence or war.
This transformative program equips youth with essential skills in conflict prevention, conflict resolution, human rights, and social justice through engaging workshops and resources, fostering understanding and peaceful coexistence.
Our comprehensive leadership workshops and mentorship opportunities are designed to equip young people and individuals with the skills and confidence to lead community initiatives and advocate for social change.
We involve youth and individuals in grassroots activities that enforce peace and social coexistence projects. This program fosters a sense of responsibility and connection while providing essential humanitarian assistance in conflict-affected societies.
We leverage the power of creative expression, including theater, visual arts, and music to engage and inspire individuals and communities to raise awareness about critical social issues through their artistic talents.
We believe that lasting peace and social change can only be achieved when we work together. We actively seek partnerships with local organizations, governments, and community leaders to amplify our impact.
